Our laboratory is accredited by the Department of Health and Human Services under Clinical Laboratory Improvements Amendments (CLIA) and operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Utilizing a state-of-the-art facility with advanced equipment, our certified medical technologists can perform a variety of testing and screenings for inpatient and outpatient testing, including:

Laboratory tests are crucial for diagnosing and monitoring medical conditions. At Plains Memorial Hospital, our clinical laboratory uses advanced technology to produce accurate results with minimal patient discomfort. PMH clinical laboratory is able to preform lab test for out of town physicians and fax the results in a timely fashion. This helps residents stay in town for needed lab test.
Food and beverages can alter some laboratory tests. Many times, the best comparison of specific test results can be made while the patient is fasting. It is critical that patients consult their medical provider when receiving laboratory orders to verify if they need to be fasting and if any medications will interfere with the test results.
