Mendy Hawkins, Food Services with our Dietary department, is our Hospital Employee of the Month.
Mendy is a vital part of the hospital team and represents what it takes to run a high-quality hospital beyond the bedside.
During the January snowstorm, Mendy went above and beyond to make sure essential employees and patients were cared for by providing fresh, comforting meals during a challenging time. Her actions helped create a sense of warmth and support when it was needed most.
Her kindness, consistency, and willingness to go the extra mile reflect the best of what great hospital service looks like. She brings care to her work every day, and that care is felt by the people around her.
As Dietary Director Sonia Oltivero, said, “Mendy is always friendly and consistently goes above and beyond her duties to provide our staff with delicious meals and snacks.”
