At Plains Memorial Hospital, part of Castro County Healthcare, every patient experience begins with people who make others feel welcome, supported and cared for. Connie Garcia, who serves in Registration and serves as the Accounts Payable Clerk for the district, is one of those people.
Connie is often one of the first faces patients and families see when they arrive at the hospital. In that role, her kindness, patience and steady presence help set the tone for the care that follows. She brings a positive attitude to work each day and is known by her team as a hard worker, a dependable teammate and someone who is always willing to help.
“I want to recognize Connie Garcia who works in registration at the hospital! Connie is always welcoming others with a smile and brings such a positive attitude to our team each day. Her hard work, kindness, and willingness to go out of her way to help others does not go unnoticed,” said her supervisor, Judy Garcia.
Connie’s work for the past seven years reflects what Castro County Healthcare strives to provide across every part of the organization: local care that is personal, dependable and always in service to the community.
“Team members like Connie help define the patient experience before clinical care even begins,” said Elisha Rosier, RN, BSN, CEO of Castro County Healthcare. “Her warmth, reliability, and willingness to serve others reflect the kind of local, people-centered care we are proud to provide across Castro County Healthcare.”
Whether she is helping a patient through the registration process, supporting her coworkers or greeting someone with a smile, Connie helps create the kind of experience patients and families remember.
Thank you, Connie, for the care, commitment and positivity you bring to Plains Memorial Hospital and Castro County Healthcare.
