By Elisha Rosier, RN, CEO, Castro County Healthcare
Hospital Week is a time to recognize the people and healthcare organizations that make local care possible.
At Castro County Healthcare, that includes the teams at Plains Memorial Hospital, the Medical Center of Dimmitt, Country View Living, Dimmitt Pharmacy, and Welch Rehab. Each facility serves a different purpose, but all are part of the same promise to our community: care that is close, personal, and dependable.
We care for people across every stage of life and across a wide range of needs. That can mean a child coming in for a physical before school starts. It can mean rehabilitation after an illness or injury. It can mean long-term support for a resident at Country View Living. It can mean hospital care for a very sick patient. And it can also mean being ready and responsive when something serious happens, like a traumatic injury or stroke.
Hospital Week is about recognizing the people behind the scenes and at the bedside who keep this work moving every day. Nurses, therapists, aides, technicians, support staff, housekeeping, dietary, maintenance, administration, and so many others all play a part. I am proud of the people who serve across Castro County Healthcare. They show up for this community with skill, compassion, and commitment. They make local care possible. And they make it better.
This Hospital Week, I want to thank every member of our team at Plains Memorial Hospital, the Medical Center of Dimmitt, Country View Living, Dimmitt Pharmacy, and Welch Rehab. Thank you for the work you do and the care you give.
